Subject: COVID-19 Update

To All of Our Loyal Customers,

The health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority at Swift Couriers and we have taken steps throughout our network  in response to the spread of COVID-19, Coronavirus.

By closely following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and guidelines, we will continue do our part to help prevent the spread of the virus while still providing delivery service of essential items:

  • Our delivery personnel are committed to wiping down vehicle door handles, steering wheels, gear shifters, and other frequently touched surfaces, upon delivery.
  • Drivers will not be required to obtain signatures from all customers, either on paper or electronically.
  • Home deliveries will be left at the front door or outside in a safe area.
  • Employees will also be maintaining their own workspaces; sanitizing and disinfectant wiping down work surfaces, computers, keyboards, telephones, etc.
  • Our cleaning staff has been asked to also be diligent and thorough in wiping down surfaces, door handles and other frequently touched surfaces on a nightly basis.

We have also reiterated with all our employees the importance of washing their hands thoroughly and using the hand sanitizer when necessary. Any employees who feel or show symptoms have been asked to stay home for 14 days or longer as recommended by a healthcare professional.

We are open for business and thankful for all who still need our service. Please be patient during these times, as we may experience delays or the need to prioritize certain types of deliveries.

As we move forward, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and status of COVID-19 in our community and are committed to protecting you and our employees.
